Habitat of Nodaway County to partner with building trades program on 2020-2021 home build

Habitat for Humanity of Nodaway County is pleased to announce it has established a partnership with the Maryville R-II School District and its building trades program at the Northwest Technical School for future home construction projects. The boards of Habitat for Humanity of Nodaway County and the Maryville R-II School District approved a memorandum of understanding this month that will help local students acquire profession-based learning while completing the home for Habitat and its next partner family by June 2021.

Habitat volunteers complete ramp project

Volunteers working on behalf of Habitat for Humanity of Nodaway County constructed a ramp at 401 E. First Street in Maryville this week. Habitat extends its thanks to Ron Spire for designing the project and coordinating our volunteers, who included Kyle Garrett, Gary Meyer, Rodney Heller, Mike Kinman and Marc Pournazari.
